Hey Everyone!
We have some great news! We just booked our annual DAVID MOORE visit! YAY!! Such a fun time of year. Here are the details:
When: September 22nd-24th, 2011
Where: DSDS! of course
Who: JPC, SPC, JTC, & TDT
Why: Cause David is the Best! And so are we!
Here is a TENTATIVE SCHEDULE for David’s visit. I say tentative because sometimes David will change the times according to how the group is doing. Sometimes they need more/less time than we thought, and we have to be flexible. This is such a great opportunity to have David come to OUR very own studio and teach us. People travel from all over to take his classes in Los Angeles, and we get him all to ourselves for 3 days, HOW FUN!
Thursday: (This will take the place of regular dance classes on this day, thank you for being flexible)
JPC: 4:00-5:00pm
SPC: 5:00-7:00pm
JTC/TDT: 7:00-9:00pm
Friday:
JPC: 3:00-5:00pm (YES, I do realize this will cut into some of your school schedules. I ask on this day only that you get your child out from school early to be at dance. I promise that it will be an exception, but we want them to have as much time with David as possible, so please plan ahead for this.)
JTC/TDT: 5:00-7:00pm
SPC: 7:00-9:00pm
Saturday:
JPC: 9:00am-10:00pm
SPC: 10:00am-11:00am
TDT/JTC: 11:00am-12:00pm
On Saturday, the parents are invited the last 10 minutes to come and watch what their child has learned from David and to take pictures with him. He is a famous choreographer and it’s so cool to have him here! So make sure to get a photo with him and come see how hard they have worked!
Prices:
Yes, I realize it’s expensive to fly out a professional choreographer from Los Angeles to teach your child a Hip Hop dance, but we feel that it’s worth every penny. Living in Pocatello, Idaho we don’t always get these type of opportunities so here at DSDS we try to create them! His dances over the past years, (School Days, Bieber Fever, Turntables, Monster) have proven to be some of our best! Prices for David are lower this year (YAY!) due to the fact that we have more students in our performing companies, which is so great! David’s prices do go up each and every year! AHHH.. STOP! But keep in mind that we are trying to keep it affordable for all of you, and have your best interest in mind.
JPC: $70.00
SPC: $75.00
JTC/TDT: $85.00
These prices will be due on the 22nd of September (The first day of David’s workshop)
Please try your very best to be punctual and prepared when David is here, you DO NOT want to miss this opportunity or miss one second of what he is teaching us.
If for some crazy reason you will not be able to attend while David is in town, you WILL still have to pay the fee. We will video the choreography for you and you can learn it at home, but being in the company, we count on you to attend everything just like the rest of us. Thanks.
